I am so dissapointed!

Are hibiscus that rare? It seems like the new ones that were just released, are already sold out. It seems to me if demand outweighs supply, there should be more dealers. Anyone looking for a new business, here you go.

It's not that they're that rare, it's just the people who grow the nicer ones tend to be small specialty nurseries where they don't have a huge staff to be propagating millions of plants. I think they'd rather offer a larger number of different cultivars but fewer of each individual plant, versus having thousands available of just a few cultivars. And they also don't want to over-propagate and be stuck with inventory that they have nowhere to keep. So the nicer ones do go pretty quickly, you have to be ready at the beginning of Jan to get your order in if you're after the popular ones. Many times though they'll get more in later in the season, so I'd keep checking back and chances are they may have the ones you're interested in back in stock later in the year.
