Can anyone tell me how to keep a cat from getting on the kitchen counter? I am keeping my clients cat. It was suppose to be only for a week but he fell on his trip and broke his hip in Wisconsin and now I have had the cat for 6 weeks now. I dont like him to get on the counters but I have tried everything from water spray bottles to shaking plastic bags at him to putting foil on the counters. Nothing bothers him. His owner gave up on keeping off his counters and just lets him go but as long as I am keeping him I just dont like it and neither does my dh.
