Have 2 Hoyas that are showing distress in some leaves.
One is H meliflua ssp fraterna and the other H verticillata/acuta.
They seem to be yellowing and drying out from the outside in.
Not sure why, roots seem fine, very potbound. Not overwatered
for sure. Could it be the cold ? I know we haven't been that cold but
we have had chilly nights for awhile now. They're definitely not used
to this much cool...
Thoughts ?

Dry/Mushy Leaves ???
Paula...it looks like a chemical burn of some kind...that then rotted. Are all the leaves like that...on one side like that? just the edges?... I would cut the leaves off that are affected, get rid of them and see if it continues....
I had a leaf look like that once..discovered it was touching a light bulb. If you were in the colder States, I would also guess touching a cold window.
Hmmm, I wonder if I got alcohol on it and then it got sunburnt ? I'm really careful about not spraying
mealies when the plant could get damaged by the sun though. That could be the answer, but I know I
haven't sprayed the meliflua ssp fraterna for any mealies, ever. So hard to say.
I will cut them off now and cross my fingers !
Thanks
Paula
