Our GP Dr. has been treating my husband's toe for several weeks now. Hub's is diabetic,dropped a tool on his toe back in Oct. that then got infected with gangrene. We live on SS and have no health insurance. so I have sent for his military records(Viet Nma Vet) to apply for assistance with the VA. A friend told me to contact our congressman to see if he/his office might be able to speed up the process.
Hub's goes back to DR. this coming Wed. to see how he's doing on the new meds but I'm preparing for what might or might not be....and for future medical problems. Can anyone tell me what kind of wait we're looking a if the congressman can't push the ap thur?
