Would anyone be interested in this camera to view your fish remotely if I could secure a co-op price on it?

Underwater cameras for viewing koi
Yeeeeeeeeeeeessssssss!!!!!
Let me know what the co-op price may be, and then I'll know better. I've seen several different companies that make them, and am not sure which one is better.
I sent off an email yesterday but haven't herd anything. This is the same model camera as another that we discussed getting for Christmas.
Not heard anything yet. Will try again.
Your efforts are very much appreciated.
A co-op for that would be great!
:-( I see on their website, however:
(hope this wouldn't mean something like a DG Co-op)

Wow, talk about controlling their market. I'm sure that has to hurt their sales.
I don't think that the warranty policy would hurt their market, it just means they won't fix something someone buys from a suspect source. I think it is very helpful to only sell through authorized dealers, the manufacturer doesn't want to do the legwork of figuring out if a warranty is still in place if a product is purchased second or third hand. That could be a logistical nightmare in some cases. Some warranties are from date of purchase, some are from date of manufacture, which can be a huge difference.
What I do think could hurt them is that they seem very anti-internet in that statement, and it makes me strongly suspect that any customer relations from that company might be....er, not so great. The fact that they list UNAUTHORIZED sellers but not authorized sellers is very un-helpful.
MM, you might have better luck contacting an authorized dealer and then making the group purchase that way, kind of how the TWL co-op is going. I think Bonnie from Bonnie's Plants must be an authorized dealer because she lists the cameras on her website: http://www.bonniesplants.com/BuyCamera.html
