This is 'Alyse' which will go out in spring.
Blooms will change to orange as she ages.
Blooming today :-)
Winter Brugmansia Blooms sw Pennsylvania, USA
Great looking Brugs, in winter no less, I wish mine were Blooming, they are dormant, in my basements
Elizabeth
Wow I love them both congrats!!!
Alice, does Alyse change to orange even in hot weather? My old favorite, Creamsickle, has exhibited the apricot color only once. I would love to find a multiple shirted Brug that does change to an orange shade. I love Alyse's shape. What is her fragrance like?
Wonderful Alice, that your Babies are putting on a show for you amids all the Snow you are having, o know the Greenhouse helps just a little.Kudos to you.
You are speedy Alilce being the Matchmaker again, good luck!
Great looking winter blooms. I guess I better go water mine today before the snow and cold rush in. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
It was 9º here when I went out this morning.
Hardly any snow this year, but it's been so cold )-;
But what do you know, more brugs are showing buds .. lol Just hoping they hold to open so I can show them.
Hope you got your's watered, Shirley. My water is frozen today )-:
Happy Birthday Alice!! I'll wish you a warmer rest of the day, although with all these cold fronts coming down from Canada one right after another, that may be hard to achieve. :-)
Sending wishes that you have a warm and fun birthday. You are probably getting lots of brug bloom presents. That would be much fun to me.
Well, it's on its way to 0º right now. Supposed to be like this through Sunday )-;
Jaye and Christa, thanks so much for your 'Magnifiqué' photos for my Birthday.
It's really good to see them :-)))
'Magnifiqué' can get 4 skirts here. Will you count to see how many she throws for you?
I am always interested to see how same brugs look grown in different places.
It would be fun to start a gallery on that to compare :-)
By the way, 'Magnifiqué' is another of my Monika's beauties from seed.
She gets the credit for 'Magnifiqué'. I just grew the seed. ha
Thanks Bettydee :-)
Yes, unfortunately it looks it will be frigid awhile here. I heard tonight it will be the next 9 days )-;
I will have to show some ice patterns from the glasshouse I am getting right now.
Very neat :-)
