I just got a call from my son yesterday who is in the US Army band that he is being deployed to Iraq on Jan 17th instead of in March. The troops over in Iraq needs some morale boosting according to the reports..so I am off to see my son this weekend leaving at noon today since he is stationed at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas. And next week Jan 16th we will have a family day together since this band plays for people who comes and goes from this base so the Army band will not have someone playing for them..so it is up to us --the families and the whole nine yards to help these guys and gals off to a great start..and spend as much as time we are allowed to have with them.
All my baby chicks and chickens and dogs and quails and other animals will be taken care by my brother while we are gone..WHEW!! no worries there...
My son's name is SSgt Jonathan A Milburn...
and Thanks for all of your prayers for him ahead of time..
For those who contacted me about my saddles, I have Dmailed you already but I can't get back to you until Sunday or Monday to check my Dmails from you..
Thanks so much, Nadine

Moodene: Thank you for loaning your son to us, the american people. As a former military man, also stationed at Ft Hood, Lived in Harker Heights. I have great fondness for those who serve, be it man or woman. We should all feel privledged to hold your son and his entire family up in prayer. I have put his name rank and family on my desk and will pray for all of you daily so help me God. Yours truly Haystack.
Awwwwwwwwwww Moodene, I do feel for you. My thoughts are with you as a mother and your son in a situation he has no control of. I know the Soldiers there that are takin care of business will enjoy your son and the rest of the band.
When you shed tears know that we are with you and also shedding tears. Hug him real tight from us here at DG also.
I will indeed pray for your son along with all of our troops.
Be blessed in your visit and time spent together!
See you soon. jeanmarie ♥
If you wouldn't mind giving out his address so we could send out a care package. My cousin spent 15 months in Iraq and got back last April. Those packages really meant alot to him and his guys.
I'll keep him and your family in my daily prayers. Please let him know we are all thinking of him.{{{hugs}}}
