Need help

Grand Haven, MI(Zone 5a)

I KNOW there's a place here at Dave's where we can ask for plant ID, but I can't find it! LOL!
So I'll ask here, and then maybe one of you can direct me to the forum I SHOULD be posting this.

I found this plant bit on the floor in a store. I know it had to fall off a plant that was offered for sale there, but I couldn't find out what it is.
Anyone know?

Yes! That's it, Mistletoe Cactus! Thankyou. Now I can read up on it's propagation and care.

LOL! OK, do I cut it apart and stick the stems in the dirt or does it need the joint where the stems come out in contact with the dirt? Don't tell me.....have I actually found an easy as preschool plant to grow? Free!

Just saw your detective work. The R-- of the original suggestion was apparently correct. Mistletoe cactus is a Rhipsalis. We have a large pencil cactus in our kitchen. It is a Euphorbia and these contain a milky white latex.
The pencil cactus bleeds a lot of this, for a while, when it is cut. The latex is poisonous. It apparently causes rashes on some people's skin. It can be a serious problem if it gets in your eyes. I've often saved bits of unknown plants. I guess the moral is, be careful until you know what you've got!
