Now that I'm looking for new directions to go, I was thinking seriously of starting a boarding service. Small dogs, maybe cats. No kennels involved, in home pet-sitting.
I need some input on screening type questions. What are the most important things to ask? I know about shots, temperament, medical conditions...what else?
There is ALWAYS somebody here, be it myself, DH or Mom. This area only has 2 places people can leave their dogs, no where for cats, and they are kennels. Nobody offers the comfort of home that the pets are accustomed to and I think/hope the idea will go over well.
What do you all think? There are some very knowledgeable folks here in the pet forum and I value all of your opinions.
