I am not sure if I can get away though! I am taking a geology class. It is very intense and time consuming. It would only take me about 5 to 6 hours to get there. Maybe less. I have to map quest it. I bet Miss Silkie would go. She lives in PA. We talked about meeting up at a show here in NY this spring. This one looks great though! You would have a bit of a commute though. Sorry to tourcher you with the site! hehehe
there is that "s" word again, lmbo. i was gonna show there this year and i forgot about it, to late for entries now. it is down by harrisburg about 3-4 hours from me.
i've been doing alot better lately it comes and goes now not like it was, but i'm still takeing it easy. i probably will not make it to that one till next years show. when i went to the bath show in ny it was about 3 hours from me to get there. the pa farm show is our biggest santioned show i've heard it's killer but haven't been there yet. yes, u gotta let me know when they have sanctioned shows up there.

yep, i'll keep an ear out also for shows. well dh put me on bedrest that has helped alot. for a few days there i had like kidney probs so we were wondering if it might be kidney stones, stomache ulers or somehting along those lines. i honestly don't know what it is, today i have felt wonderful it's the oddest thing, it comes and goes now with the pain not constant like it was. we have had alot of weather probs so i haven't gone anywhere for awhile. so bad we have had school canceled and alot of 2 hour delays and even an early dissmisel so i've just been home on bedrest. to dang icey to go anywhere and i'm working on trying to find a good doc not a quack to switch too,lol.
I know! The weather has been nuts. That ice storm came through then the next day we had a snowstorm. School was cancelled and delayed here too. I cant believe how much they have missed this year. We are not even halfway through Jan. They will loose time on other breaks though. That will make them sad.
At least you have some good days and a great DH!
sorry to hear that youre under the weather silkie..i too am doctoring..it seems i have gall stones..have to go for another test next week, then probably surgery to remove the offending gall bladder...

I just had my gall bladder removed. It is not a bad operation.
silkie, wondering if you have gall bladder troubles too..thats the way if felt..i found a good dr in brookville..Semeyn family practice..and kidney stones are miserable..

Yes I thought I had a bleeding ulcer,the pain was bad. Never had pain on the right side. Went to the ER at 4am on a Monday morning they wanted me to have the surgery by the next Friday. I said hold on I had to arrange to board my dog and get my DBIL down to help DM with my dad and to take me to the hospital. I will not say it was painless but I felt a lot better afterwards.
so sorry to hear u are all sick too hugs to ya both i hope u r better soon. that's what i have thought it was for a few mths now is my gall bladder but the last heck i don't know mabe week, two weeks it's like kidney probs and stomache. i was suppost to go for 2 gall tests before christmas had to rescedule 2 times cause i was so sick. haven't rescheduled yet again. my doc is a gall specialist but hasn't really tried to help me figure out what is up, i had to request the tests. i don't know what all they signs and symptoms r for a bad gall, i just know it's alot in that area for pain and different things make me think it's what it is. i'm possative it's not my appendix so that's at least a good thing.
DH has a kidney stone he's had for over a year and not passed yet. that worries me worse had probs today with it. he had him do all the test found out what it was and just gave him mild pain pills for it. come on he's had it over a year and can't pass it he needs it ultrasonic waved or something. no way he should still have it, we have the same doc, we both want to find another doc it is more to it than that but ya see what i'm getting at. we want to fix what's wrong not take meds to cover it.
Do like I did go to the ER. They did the tests and found a surgeon. My regular doctor was fine with that.
Shouldnt you be out to a big Birthday dinner or a movie??? Not that I am trying to get rid of you because I really would miss you!!! ;)
Already been. Had a great lunch. I have not been to a movie in many years. I get the hebejebe when I try to watch a long move. Be sides I do not drive at night if I can help it.

I think it was the ice packs I hate being cold but it did help.

I have sea food for lunch-fresh local sea food and lots of it!!!! It was in the 70's here today it will be around 75 tomorrow but the bottom will fall out and it will me in the 30's during the night.

yipes silkie, your dh must be miserable..my son just had stents put in his kidneys, cause of stones they just found..sure sounds like you both need to change drs..the best one around here for that is dr reddy in brookville..that man is amazing..i would definately not let it go too much longer, his kidneys could be damaged..
try to stay warm, we are headed for the deep freeze this week..highs 9 and lows sub zero..yuck!! the "girls" sure wont be happy.
