Phicks, what kind of temps have you been seeing there? day and night? My Borneo Giant look very, very sad! up until a couple of days ago, we have had a few nights of frost and the rest in the 40's. Now it's 72 F with very low humidity (9 PM). I am sure the warm days and nights will make it happy.

Since we got hit with this last aeric blast wondere d how your ears been surviving or did yoru stuff get bit too? You warmign back up at all?
Mine stuff got it good single digets durign day and low doubles at night for too many nights, even the gh couldn't protect them. Just spent the other day cleanign stuff up and cuttign thinsg back.
Abotu cried when I seen all my bananas. Gave em a hair cut and hope they put backout soon.

Oh Paul. Feel so bad for you. I hope they put back out. That my hope. I knwo the ones up at Auburn are in the ground and have been there for many many years and they get no special treatment yet each winter they lose all their leaves and parts of the branches die and in the spring they give them a hair cut and out they come again bigger and wider and bloom their heads off.
I have some with green stems and they have lost their leaves and then have some which are having tip die back and whiel their leaves are just hanging their, they won't fall off yet.
Hopefully the worst of the cold over for yoru area and they will come back.
I am wonderign if I should cut the yuck off my ears now or just wait til spring. Saw the weather and gonna get another cold snap in a week again.
