1 1/2 lbs of chicken pieces
1 cup brown sugar
2/3 c vinegar
1/4 c lemon lime soda
3 TBS garlic minced
2 TBS soy sauce
1 tsp black pepper
Place chicken in crock pot. Mix the rest together and pour over the chicken. Cook on low for 6-8 hrs.
serve over noodles or rice.
I think you could fix this in the oven, baked if you don't use a crock pot much.
The other thing is the sauce is thin, so you may want to thicken slightly with cornstarch or flour.
I think you could also pour off the broth and cook your noodles in that. I served it with steamed broccoli. Also you could tweak the recipe to your liking. I used a little more soy sauce, and a little less sugar than it called for. Even my kids liked it. And so easy to make.
