I have a new bird a shot today. I chased this bird for about 15 minutes in and around a patch of bushes and had to shoot thru lots of branches and between manually focusing and auto focus I was able to get a picture in between the branches. Yet again I have no clue what kind of bird it is and need help id'g it.
The 1st shot is a side profile and the second shot is a front profile.

Looks like a Brown Thrasher to me
That's a Brown Thrasher...cousin to the Mockingbird. Very secretive critter-always difficult to get a good pic. They are a resident bird where you live.
