Schlumbergera from seeds????

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Has any one tried growing Schlumbergera from seeds? It looks like I might have fruit developing on some of my plants that I experimented with cross pollinating.

There not much there yet. But the flowers are gone and the baby fruit is still there and starting to swell. but I will show picture when they get just a little bigger.(Read that as I can't take that small of picture with out shaking. LOL) Plus I will have the first of my benches finished and can get the plant in a better position for picture taking.

I crossed about ten and I have at lease 4 baby fruits. And just crossed my yellow with my orangey red hope that one takes. The problem is when to transfer the pollen.

I found 3 more that are swelling and a couple more that may have taken . That was one that I forget to mark but I think a large flower pink crossed with a purplish red.

I have never seen seeds. I will have to try to polinate to see if I get anything.

Try pollinate the flowers two days. I am not sure yet when they are ready.

How long did it take for this plant to bloom???

I have not grown them from seeds yet so I do not know how long. I bought this plant this year.
