I know it's close to after the holidays, but . . . I was SO busy at work today, I started thinking about bingo . . .

I had told Susan in the last thread that I would make calls for her . . . so if we do play, I will need someone to help hold cards . . . any volunteers?
I am hoping that people will play and I will stay out of it.......(LOL)..................promise.........honest engine..........

I will play-- I will also donate a prize. I can't hold cards this time-- my printer died and I would be unable to print them out-- with my computer so unreliable I can't trust it not to eat them if they are not printed out.

So far, though, mine are more on the purple/lavendar side. But, I'm hoping they'll turn more blue as the plant gets older.

I 'm game-- but only if you want to do it that way--someone else might hold cards--if you would prefer to call. I am easy-- jlmk-- If I did call-- I would have to have your phone#--in case this ol' puter won't play. Actually I think the problems are mostly with Hughes Net-- because for about 2 weeks my browser barely works and then overnight-it is fine. This happens every few weeks or so. I just don't think computers heal themselves-- but what do I know. btw that is one GORGEOUS flower!!
Gran, when mine does that as I am wireless, I just reboot and most of the time it takes care of the problems. I also use a free version of Avast to protect my computer........it is a great one. The computer tech who built my computer recommended it...........it announces every morning at 8 am that the computer has been checked.
I have rebooted, restored, virus/spyware scanned and registry checked and nothing does any good. It will act like that for 2-3 weeks and one day I will turn it on and it is fine. This last time all the 9000 systems were out when I called the tech. dept., they said that the satellite signal was "degraded". It wasn't fixed immediately --browser still didn't work right, but 3 days later it was OK. This 'puter is 6 years old (dinosaur in computer years) I upgraded it 3 yrs ago--still old for a computer--so don't really know if it is my problem or their problem.
Gran, there is a young man here who does nothing but build computers for individual people and companies.............his prices are sooooooo much lower than anyone else and much better computers. He built one for someone here on DG besides me.
He can service his own computers shipped out of state from his place of business. He ships everywhere. I have a satellite that sometimes has to be turned in a different direction from my service provider. They turned mine towards another tower about 6 months ago and it was and is great. My house sits down in a low spot going towards the creek and had trouble with the satellite pointing south. I would really get after the provider about a new satellite or service to it.
I will get his info when I am ready for a new 'puter--soon I hope. I think my problem is two fold-- the 9000 system is operating off a different & new satellite and I think they are still working out the bugs--never had trouble with my old system--but I live on the side of a mountain now and they have to shoot over the top and the only satellite they can get is the 9000--so they had to give me a free upgrade to the new one just to keep me as a customer. when it gets really bad-- i stop by the library on my way to town--but don't go every day.
I want to play but can't call .. It is to crazy here ... I will donate a prize.. 20.00 dollars to where ever they want to buy from...
