CLOSED: Need help confirming this bird

Clinton, MD(Zone 7a)

Need confirmation. I believe this is the Hermit Thrush. But the Hermit and Wood Thrush look very similar, except it appears that the Wood Thrush spots are more pronounced than the Hermit's but that could be because of different seasons. Also, the stripe along the throat looks different. I have a picture from about a month ago but it's not as detailed as these pics

Thanks for any help
Al

Hermit Thrush. The orangey tail and lack of spots on the lower belly are Hermit Thrush characters. Wood Thrushes heeaded south months ago and won't be seen here until spring.

Fox Island, WA(Zone 8b)

I too would agree with Hermit thrush. The spots are more prominent and go all the way down the belly on wood thrush

TYPO!
