Hi, not that new to Dave's garden . I've been here a few months already, I was wondering how to put a link into a post?

Just get the page you want to link on a separate tab from your post. Copy and paste from the address bar into your post.Did you get a free seed invitation? This is the link http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/932800/

you just need to space between your last word, or symbol before you paste the link in. If you forget the space just arrow back to the front of the symbol for instance this one you did you wrote link..then the link, instead write link..space http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/932800/
then hit your preview and see if your link works. Let me know how it goes.
