In deed very pretty, I like the color pattern it displays, does it get them only in cooler weather.

I got some Hibiscus seed I am wondering since I live in Spokane WA zone 5 if I can have them as a house plant and do they live ok in the house. Thanks

Are they tropicals? If so you'll definitely need to bring them in for the winter, but I think they'll probably be happier if you put them outside during the summer. But plenty of people overwinter them in the house and they do just fine. There are a couple of hardier varieties of hibiscus as well--both H. moscheutos and H. syriacus I believe are hardy to zone 5 so you could grow those in your garden if that's what your seeds are.
