Easter eggs on DVD's

This isn't exactly computer related, but I bet if you know computers, you might be able to help me on this. I keep running into references to "Easter Eggs" on DVD and I did find out it is something hidden on the DVD. Does anyone know how to pull them up? Specifically I'm talking about "Secondhand Lions"and I bet there's plenty hidden in that one!! Just realized maybe I should have posted on the books, movies and TV thread.
