Our first day of the new year is going to be a chilly one-wind chills below 0. But the snow storm ended a couple of hours ago so that's a plus! Hoping spring is early this year!!

Happy New Years all!!! Stayed up till 3:00am celebrating with my brother and his fiance. We drank champagne and played Balderdash. Good times! I recommend drunken Balderdash as a great way to pass the time ; )
I have played that. It was fun! I fell asleep just before midnight! My DH woke me up to see the ball drop. I am a real ball of fire! weeee!

Sounds like a blast! Have you played apples to apples? We LOVE balderdash, but we also have a2a and its hilarious! similar concept, less thought. ;-)
LL, funny you mention the A2A. I have not played it yet but my brother was just telling how much fun it is and how I need to play it. I'm thinking about purchasing it.
Its awesome, definitely worth the purchase. Its mush easier as you drink more and/or also conceals the person's spelling or story-telling capabilities, should they be nervous about that.
LOL, now that does sound like fun! It is rather hard to play games like Balderdash whilst intoxicated, but oh so fun. Looks like I'll be getting A2A then : )
Oooo! You just reminded me - I should play that a couple times this week. My parents finally got out from under their snow in Eastern Oregon and made it over for the holidays. Additionally we'll be working out bums off on our remodel/addition all week. It'll be fun to sit down to play games in the evening, plus we need more than 2 of us!

Full of piss and vinagar.... I have decieded that Billy and I will fix up that last coop and get it ready, I really miss not having chickens and Roos to wake me up in the am. Plus a friend has some humane traps that I will put out as well... So I am going to give it another go around.
