Marker Stones

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Santa brought this for me for Christmas. I'm so excited. I mentioned I was going to use paint pens on broken pieces of old terracota pots next summer and Santa must have heard me ^_^ This kit came from Lee Valley (Lee Valley is part of Santa's workshop).

We expect to see pics of the finished project as well, you know ^_^

I can't believe that I never noticed this kit when I was looking at the plant markers in their store. I'm going to put variety names on the markers for the herbs. Also, dahlianut + concrete means I better tarp the whole room before I begin my project.

Dahlianut, have you made any yet? I always see that kit in the catalog and want it.

Nope. I'm still not sure on how I want to do it and once I start I want to be consistent throughout the garden. For herbs: definitely variety names however since most of my herbs came from gift seeds I don't know the varieties for most LOL and that won't work for woodys or uncommon perennials either. Other bummer of course is that I have 2 feet of snow and when I make one I will want to place it right away with a big TA! DA! cuz that's just me ^_^. I think it will be a mid-summer project which is the only time I get a rest. I have not forgotten this though. The kit is sitting on the cedar chest and I look at it every day.

Pics for sure KaperC. I've been wrestling with permanent labeling for years as many of us have been and I think this is going to really work for me.
