Happy New Year
Best wishes to all for a greener New Year.
I wish all you guys a Happy New year and I hope you had a good Christmas. I have not been around for a while and I really miss all of you. I had a revision on my hip replacement and I am finally getting around ... and trying to drive too. I had a couple here taking care of me for a while ... and to 70 or more they were really active ... I had no time to talk to anyone else. lol I was really blessed to have had them here. now that are gone I feel so lonely ... but I will get over it. lol
Come spring you will be good as new, and ready to mingle.
I know! I know! lol I cant wait!
Hello Sylvia, I hope you will better soon, Bless You.
Josephine.
Sylvia, you are not old enough to be having a hip problem!! You sure seemed to me to still be a spring chicken.
I hope you are spry soon and ready to tumble around on the hay ride I am planning. We sure had fun on the last ride, but the next one will be softer and shaded. LOL
Nothing blooming here except paperwhites. Lots of berries on the hollies and nandinas. Lots of red from the Nandina bushes.
This is my first year to have Mexican Hats and I didn't expect the bushes to stay green through the winter, but they are doing just that.
Here is wishing everyone the happiest new year ever! Lots of everything you need and some of what you want and the good sense to enjoy what you have. Most of all time to sit back with a cup of coffee or tea and watch the birds and butterflies in your gardens.

Charlene where you at on the last RU? I bought you the Hostas you wanted? I think that hayride is what did me in ... Lord I wish I could find the pictures. LOL

Charlene how is our girlfriend? Cant think of her name ... such a dear person. They had a trailer on your place when we was there. Her husbad had just had a hip repacement also.
You're welcome Sylvia! LOL!!
Hey, say a prayer for my DH, he has back surgery again on Wednesday. This time it is two areas. One insision on his back and another from his side (both lumbar area verbr). He has been in pain and is anxious to get this one done and over with. When he is healed this time we are going to start traveling around TX.
We went to the Home Show today and New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma had a whole lot of booths with vacation ideas, maps and literature on events. We had two heavy bags when we left there!
Josephine....I saw the Black Swallowtail as I pulled up the thread and it reminded me. Just before we left for the Home Show I released a BST that had overwintered. It was in the shop since around August or September I think. I have been checking it everyday because it was active last week. Sure enough it was ready to go; glad the weather isn't going to be freezing this week. It headed toward your house!
I'll be watching for it tomorrow Sheila!!!
