I was just sittin' and surfin' through Dave's and talking to one of the dogs named Gracie aka "Beetle" and am wondering what kind of names your's has. Our current furry family members consist of three dogs, two inside cats and several feral kitties that we take care of.

Gracie aka "Beetle" and "Boo" is a rotty/aussie mix. Mom was a registered rottie and dad was "passing through" Not sure how she got the nickname of Beetle but it sure has stuck. She does have very expressive eyes and dark brown eyebrows that she beetles up and down when she is being spoken to. She is a beautiful little girl with the personality and dignity of a queen.

MoMo is a sharpei mix and was a humane society rescue (someone had shot him in the back and left him for dead) do not know how he survived that but he has been with us many years now. He is called "mo-tato" and "manly man" I am pretty sure he does not care what he is called as long as he gets his spot on the bed or on the floor by your feet.

Lucy is a rescued black lab. She was so thin when she came to us she looked like a racing greyhound. She is my little space cadet and is also frequently given the name of "loose wheel" and "lunatic" Lucy loves to shop when we are not home and nothing is safe. We have found empty bread wrappers on the bed and unstuffed pillows. She also delights in unstuffing her toys on the bed but has so much fun doing it that she never gets in trouble! LOL

We also have Cootie a black and white shorthair cat who has quite the aloof personality which discourages frivilous things such as nicknames but has been known to be called "coocoo" and "old coot" she discourages such behaviour with a severe glare or by walking away when we try it though.

And of course there is my wonderful miracle kitty Tessa aka 'Tetleytuna" or just "Tuna" Rescued as a baby from under a board on a very cold night. I pulled her out and hoped her mom would come but mom never did so she came to live in the house. She has used a lot of her nine lives and was once clinically dead (no heartbeat, blood pressure or pupil reaction) Needless to say she pretty much rules the house.

Now I want to hear about your furbabies names and perhaps how they got them. :^)
