DH and I were vacationing on the West Coast of FL during Jan. 2006. These were taken when we were at Fort DeSoto Park, FL.
Can any of you 'bird experts' and/or the ones living near coasts help please? I don't remember now what it is.
Thanks so much!

CLOSED: What shorebird is this?
These were all close to the water's edge.
Sanderlings in winter plumage
Thanks again, Donna for your help! Again, that's what I thought they could be!
We love those charming little birds when we go the the coast in FL!

Yep, Sanderlings. Pale silvery grey above (paler than other waders), with a small dark shoulder patch.

Thanks Resin! :-)
