Angelwing 'Lana'

Navarre, FL(Zone 8b)

Lana is doing well in my makeshift greenhouse for winter. Today is in the 70's, but last week dipped down into the upper 20's at night for a short while.

Here are several other begonias nestled down in their hay beds for the winter.

Lana is very pink, isn't she....nice collection of plants, must be a challenge to keep them happy in the winter.

This photo has nothing to do with begonia, I just like it>

I like all the bromliads grouped together too. They're so pretty.
So far, I have only given the begonias a little water. That is all. I'm holding back on feeding them until Spring. I don't know if that is what I'm supposed to do, but I was told to do that with some other plants. They're little tent has kept it very humid and warm inside from solar heating in the day is all. 2 more months to go, though.

Your plants look happy, looks like your system is working very well. 2 months can seem like forever...

Thanks Nicole. Lana is looking a little sad right now. Hopefully, when I get her out of her protective winter area after all the frost is over, she will perk up again.
