No.. this is Catscan's hatch.. We gathered all the roos to put them in a bachelor pad so we wouldn't get attached... but naturally, I fell in love with this lil Turken. :)
I'm just tickled that they can go outside for a romp and play.. They run around and crash into eachother and do lil "poppin cock fights" and it's such a crack up to watch!
The Delawares that were hatched on Thanksgiving went outside for the first time the day before yesterday and they were so amazed they froze and stared at the ground for a few minutes.. that was funny too!! Then the next day they did the running flying poppin cock fights too.

Thank you Harmony. I'm a grinch this year. I rather sit with my chickens than fight the crowds and shop. Holidays are depressing when the kids are grown..
I've gotta get pics of the new babiez that I hatched. I named one Marie. She has to be a Sagittarius cause she is a traveler, she gets out and goes down the hall and doesn't care if anyone walks up.. Here is this TINY lil chick.. and a HUGE person walks up and she looks at you like.. "Yeah, you're in my way" LOL She is the cutest ever.. I'm scared to love her too much for fear something will happen to her.
This MIGHT be Marie.. but I can't remember.. She is much bigger now and easy to recognize.. Just open the door and the first one to fly out is Marie.. guaranteed..

Sewin.. she is a Marans cross. I so love that frozen in time stance they get when they see something new.. I laugh so hard.. it's especially funny when the naked necks do it.. LOL
Olive is somewhere in the group.. For all I know, Marie could be Olive! I sure hope so.. but I had to give up trying to find Olive... there were 4 that were an exact match... Let's hope Marie is Olive, and she lays those pretty olive colored eggs she came out of.

These were purchased as good layers, so yeah.. I am hoping for some nice eggers here.. I don't care if they are as dark as the Marans are known for.. Just good eggs is fine with me.

I'm not sure.. Catscan incubated these and the last ones.. I have one of her bators right now and it's at 99.5 and I didn't touch it.
