What sparrow.

taken today in Illinois, so probably not a chipping sparrow. Perhaps American Tree Sparrow?

I agree, it has that spot on the breast of the Ameican tree sparrow.

Thanks for the confirmation Resin! Always nice to get a new bird. Now I'm shooting pictures like crazy. So far, only this one. I guess they don't travel in flocks then?
