Whoo hoo! After trying to root leaves for 2 years, I finally learned how and have babies ^_^.
Strep leaves! Finally learned how !!
good morning! That is so exciting for you to have babies of streps! They look so healthy and the mother leaves look like new leaves. You may have to share you secrets with me. I get babies but you ought to see the mother leaves of some of them!
Good Morning Gail, You know what a struggle it been for me to root these leaves.I'm doing cartwheels! LOL..Now when do I transplant them into soiless mix? How big should the babies be?
good for you, so thrilling, time after time. lol

Congratulations, Jan! Funny how it can be when we try and try and then all of a sudden it clicks and look at your wonderful results.
There is no hurry to separate the babies but if you're like me, you can't wait and get impatient. If you wait more, they will grow larger and be even easier to divide.
Good info here -

I have recently divided some of the baby streps from the mother leaf cuttings and it is so much fun. Nothing like growing your own from start to finish. I imagine Gail has grown 100's of streps from leaves.
Jan,
They look GREAT now can you show me how to do it???? LOL
Hugs,
Susan
