Plant Christmas gifts?

South, TX

I just wanted to see if anyone was giving gifts of plants. One of my gifts is right here. Turned out nice. Wrapping the half box it will sit in took FOREVER. Inside and out, turned out pretty. I got all of the gifts wrapped today.

I was going to give plant gifts at work, but nothing as elaborate as yours, Sally . . . that is very pretty!

Thank you! One year, I planted a BIG clay pot with herbs. I had painted pansies all around the outside. It was so pretty. That was for Fred's G. mother. She is gone now.

Here is a stepping stone I made for my G.mother. She is gone now and I have it. My mother has the one that I made for her in her flower bed. They are not plants, but garden gifts I made.

Oh very pretty!! I did send plants as gift, but I wasn't as neat as you to do it myself!!! I sent my sister a gardenia and my Uncle in Reno the 2 new roses from Jackson Perkins. Not sure if mine counted or not. I do start plants for my sister and sil for mothers day.

That counts, Ihetten. I bet they will love the plants.

My uncle loves those roses, he lives in Reno so we don't get to see him very much. His yard has many roses, the hybrid teas.

Sally, your are personal, that makes them sentimental as well!! Have a great holiday!! I just stopped in after taking a quick break. Getting some last minute things done before tomorrow, we have christmas eve here. aahhhhhh!!!!
