Hope everyone is ok, i live in central ill. & we just had at least 1 inch of ice on everything here where i live, in towns 20 min. from here they had so much snow, rain & ice.it took us 1 hr to let the cars run, when you could get in them to run to melt some of the ice, our streets have big ruts, hopefully it will be better later on.hope everyone is ok.

It's just been rain, here, although we did get a little "wintry mix" a couple days back.
We are getting a huge snowstorm--starting any minute now--temps in the 20's--schools all closed, state workers sent home, cancelled my tests today. Hope everyone is safe and warm......

You are in my thoughts Mrsbonnie & Phoebe. Stay warm and dry and off that stuff!! Dh drives OTR and was in Chicago for the icy funfest they had there. This morning he was in NJ for the start of the snowfall --he has since driven out of it--but is still seeing all the cars in the median from am ice. We had freezing rain and sleet here first part of the week-- i am so thankful I don't have to go anywhere except to the woodpile.
The weather is so bitter cold in much of the country not to mention the ice and snow. Be safe everyone and stay warm.
Streps from Minnesota that arrived in 2 days..shipped Tuesday. Not a good idea. It's not bad here, 40F and raining.
Ice is the worst! This is a lot of snow--this area is fairly well equipped to handle it in as much as that is possible. Luckily, I do not need to go out til I go to work tomorrow afternoon. Sunday and Xmas eve are another story though--storms predicted then also, and those I cannot sit out.

GoldLeaf--missed the pic of your streps earlier -- Sorry! -- wasn't a heatpack used? It is cold in Minnesota! Cold here too--storm started < 1 hour before I took this....
