But I am seeing summer in my garage. This is one of my noids that is blooming. It's 40 degrees in the garage and this is the 2nd year this baby has decided to bloom at Christmas time. She didn't bloom all summer.

She may be a late bloomer but she is a beauty!

Congratulations and the good news is that the real colour will come out in Spring/Autumn ... Summer can wash the colour away too if it is warm at night ...the "cold" blooms are often very different to the "warm " blooms. Ideal conditions are warm days and coolish nights.

Very pretty! I have a yellow Brug in my yard with a bud!!! It just finished blooming last week and now it's starting again - isn't nature grand?!

Mine continue to bloom outside in Winter too ...I think our climate may be similar. Here is a Winter version of the same one in the following picture see how different they look?

That is a big difference in colors. Mine has turned just a little more yellow, but not enough to get a pic and have it look like it. I am hoping by tonight she will be opened up more and have more gold to her face.
