Many years ago i had a receipe for a friut cake with NO candied fruit! It was great. Had dried apricots, prunes, rasins, figs, nuts ,currentsl I've never seen it again and it really tasted good. I don't like that candied, really sweet stuff. Has anyone ever seen anything like that?
