I bought this plant from eBay about 2 years ago now. It was a teensy rooted cutting, about 6" long, for $25. It has taken it literally forever to grow, but finally, I have it going up a totem about 2 feet. The leaves are still small and I understand that it stays pretty petite, they are 3-4 inches now. How big will they top out at now that its climbing pretty well?
Does anyone have a photo of a more mature specimen than mine? What has been your experience with it over the long term?
Philodendron "Burle Marx's Fantasy"anyone else growing?
I have Burle Marx but it is not like yours. You have Burle Marx Fantasy. A beautiful vine. I searched google images and found this.

Oh shoots. I hope this long thing works!

I have the regular Burle Marx too. Its a huge growing climber that has tried to eat my greenhouse. I am forever cutting in back and throwing it out into the woods.
I will take a look at ebay for Fantasy for sale. I would like to try it.

Its available occasionally from either Enid at Natural Selections Exotics of Troy at noveltyTG.
I bought mine from someone else. NSE at the time wanted $95 and NoveltyTG wasn't on eBay then. You might be able to get it cheaper than $95, I did, just on chance with a seller I never bought anything from before then or since then. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. No one even bid against me
beautiful plant!
$95! HA! I have killed a few too many plants to drop that much $ on a difficult plant. $25 is more my range.
