I was walking Boogie and Dove this morning to go and check on the cows. Next thing I know this little pup is running full speed toward us. When I first saw her I was unsure what it was. She was just standing in the middle of the road. So, she followed us home.
She is maybe six weeks old, sort of mocha colored and has green eyes. She looks lab-like but there could be something else there as well.
So, I bathed her, fed and watered her and she is being kept separate from everyone else. Tomorrow when I go and see Hubie, the vet tech is going to keep her at the hospital, take care of her vet work, and she thinks she may already have an owner lined up. This tech comes with a reputation of being able to place dogs in good homes. Most of the new owners have been patients at this particular clinic.
I am thrilled, but think I must be a magnet for lost and wayward dogs.
