Corky and Phil

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

When I first adopted Corky, and Phil was so resistant to him, I despaired of him (Phil) ever being involved with Cork....
I am not really sure, when things changed, but they sure have.
Last night Phil got down on the floor, and sat beside Corky...and Corky, being the cuddle-bug, that he is...took advantage of the presence of a warm, human body..he draped himself against Phil's leg (he wanted to get up on his shoulder, like he does with me, but Phil is not ready for that) Phil really seemed to enjoy the contact, he sat there for a long time..when his leg began to fall asleep, he had to get up.
He never held Horsie while he slept (that I know of) I would ask him if Horsie ever got into his lap, and he would tell me yes, that he did, but he would whack him, and he would get down...(I never believed the whacking part)
He has been teaching Corky to shake hands, and Cork, has learned it, real fast. We had a friend, who came to the house last week, and he was admiring Corky, and we told him to ask Corky, to shake hands....so he asked him...and Corky did! (of course, he got a treat!)
