I would have started a December/January Bingo thread, Gail, but I think each bingo game should have it's own series . . . and if we do have another game in January . . . it deserves it's own thread(s). JMHO

I just felt sorry for people like Jan who have dial up and haven't been able to get on past 200 replies maximum.............I have been copying and pasting for her.........if they start a new bingo game, someone can start a new thread.............just don't want to exclude people with dial up..............they never complain.........

Thanks for the new thread.... If ok with everyone I will call.... If I find a picture of a flower can I take if from the web and say where I got it from or do I have to have my own pictures??? I am thinking to do more then just AV's if this is ok if not please say so... I don't mind just Av's.... I think I have enough time to find pictures and I will give credit for them... I think that is how it goes but not sure....

I just came back from attending my granddaughter's wedding in NY. I was gone from the day after Thanksgiving untill late last night. The drive from Florida to NY was maid in the rain - all the way. Ride home was long, but OK. I picked up my mail this morning and found my cash prize from lowelsf in there. I sent her a Dmail to thank her. I was sad to read all the comments about not being gracious and not thanking the giver. I think it was meant for me. Unfortunately the prize came while I was away. I've thanked Sarah privately and didn't think to thank her again on the forum. So sorry.
I can't wait for the next game.

My prize arrived today, it was in an incredibly large box, and I could not imagine what was inside. I carefully open the box to find lots and lots of individually wrap, labeled packages. I was so thrilled opening them all, it was like Christmas with tons of presents. So out came the pots and a couple of bags of soil, and I spent the next couple of hours in heaven potting them up.
I would like to thank Laura for being so generous; this was by far the best prize. The plants are so beautiful and so many of them, I can’t thank you enough. I had a great time playing Bingo, it gave me something to look forward to each day. Thanks to all for the wonderful game, hope to continue seeing everyone here on DG.

Thank you Jim, but this is just me.. ^_^ I always miss my Mom and now my brother at this time of year... You would think after all these years I would get use to it but seems I never do... I suffer from depression and I have to admit I have done really well this year... Started really bad when my 3rd son went to war... now he has been in the states now for a couple years so my head has been really good.... But then this time of year I begin to see so many people who are really nasty,hateful and no matter how much we try it does not get better.... They forget what the season means... Sorry to say this to you but I feel this is a part of me I am not ashamed to share... As if more people were nicer to each other this world would be a much nicer place.... That said this to shall pass and tomorrow always brings a new day... I fixed my color picture but all that I saved will have to wait to tomorrow as this lady is tired and I need my beauty sleep...LOLOL. Jim, You have been nothing but kind to me so this is not about you or really anyone on the forum...

hey its ok to buy,just keep them away from your other plants till you get a chance to watch them and put down a leaf of anynew ones in case they dont like your place,
when you get new ones repot them in your mix and use marathon,and spray with avid if you have it,and watch them 3 or 4 months,to make sure no nasties played hitchhiker
also watch who you get them from,most dealers are pretty good,but NO one is bug free,
there are 2 types of growers I believe,those who have bugs and those who havent gotten them YET,ive had mealeys in the past (years ago) and isolate all new plants

I am going to work on a place to put my new flowers after the new year... That was my problem...I put new with old and I payed dearly for it.... You bet I have marathon and Avid...LOLOL and conserve....LOLOL I have all the big guns now.. I also believe about 2 types of growers and one of the growers said that to me... Now if I did not kill half of your cuttings I would not have to buy anything as I am really happy with what I have....but I never really want to have some 400 streps and others... Oh Jim this pictures is for you and when spring comes she is yours....LOLOL
