This was such a Sweet Thing

The other day Ms Bonnie told me to watch for a surprise box to come in the Mail. Well Friday I had to Go up to my Dads so I had a friend come and see if it came. Had snow why I was gone on Saturday so came home and shoveled but it was to late to call my friend so I called Today and they had picked up the box so I went and picked it up and came home to open.
When I opened I found 13 different kinds of AV
This was not a christmas gift from her it was the thought of good will to put a smile on my face. And She sure did I was very Surprised well it has been very cold here I think that it is 4 outside I am hopping that the plants will live The big ones are doing ok the little one I am Babying them and have them on heat lite and bags so I will do what I can to keep them going
I am hereing so many nice story about good will and giving for no reason. Not because its a holiday season or anything like that They just wanted to do it for you. Thanks again MS Bonnie its such a great Box of plants The heat pad was cold but as time goes on I will keep you updated with the Plants

Looks like in the first picture you have a giant strep of some kind.

Gail the strep is called Gator's tail and it does have some blooms on it
The strep leaf is not doing good its wilting it was standing stright up I am going to try and put it in water to see if it will root

Yes it is nice that we all share and Bonnie is wonderful for doing that... We are a good group and a sharing one to boot...LOL Hope they all come back for you Kim...

Do streps and AV's like bottom heat? Or do you just have a heat lamp over them for a bit?

AV likes the bottom and Turtle Chi-nija( Susan) put hers on the heat mat I have heat matts

I have heat mats, but didn't know AV's like them! I use them mainly during winter for seed starting! doh! I'll have to read more into that . . . Thanks! ^_^

I am not good at this and there may be others that don't agree with me try it if it dosen't work take them off

Last year I grew every strep I had from a leaf on a heat mat. But have also grew with no heat... My cuttings don't look to swift as I type (streps) so I may put them on a heat mat this coming week.. Time will tell.. Now my Av leaves have never been on heat . I just seem to be able to grow them.. Others say streps don't like heat but I say what works for you works...LOL
