What's Aloe used For?

I know aloe is used for burns. I had a bad burn and immediatly spread aloe juice from the leaves on it. And the pain was gone right away - and no blisters formed, except in one little spot I missed. And that spot got scarred also.
But no scars anywhere else.

What else is aloe good for?
