How to keep meatballs from falling apart

I know all the usual things - use breadcrumbs, and egg, but somehow a co-worker & I have problems keeping meatballs from falling apart during cooking & serving.
Any suggestions? I thought perhaps, like the hamburger presses bought from Tupperware, it was a matter of pressing all the air out..........
