Does anyone know of a source inside the US for Saskachewan's Crimson Passion cherry? Lot's sellers in Canada but they can't ship to the US
Crimson Passion Cherry
Did you try St. Lawrence Nurseries?
Scott
The website states out of stock for 2008 and I cannot reach them by phone, left messages but they do not return my calls
St Lawrence is the only supplier I've located so far. I've been a customer for 4 years and they are a reliable supplier of cold hardy nursery plants, trees, and shrubs. I ordered SK crimson passion and carmine jewel last year, but waited too late in the season. If you order, order early!
The problem is, they don't take credit cards. I would mail a check with the order but I have no way of knowing what the 2009 price will be. Most likely by the time they post the price on their website, they will be all gone. I did get a Carmine jewel from Gurney's, small but actually a nice little tree.
I am trying to bring it back. Any new information on where to get Crimson Passion cherry in US in 2010?
Thank you very much.
Yoy might want to check with Raintree, they have a dwarf cherry called " Craigs Crimson". It may not be the same tree, but it is cold hardy.
It's not the same tree. The Crimson Passion is actually propagated by tissue culture, the same as the Carmine Jewel. I know who is doing it but they are in Canada and so far the minimum order is $500 plus the shipping which is prohibitive to me
