I am really missing this feature and is something I use all the time. When oh when will it be back?

I sometimes search for the plant on Google and one of the choices it gives me is Plant Files

Yes, sometimes, I find Google easier at bringing me right back to the correct plant in PlantFiles.

It is not as fussy in spelling or catagory.

This is Veglady's husband, Jack. (She doesn't want to be blamed for stuff I say :-)

We need info on collards, grown and harvested for market - varieties, planting dates, alternative harvest methods (whole plant vs single leaves, etc). Our church has a donation-based market garden. Many of our patrons are african-american and they want collard greens! Big time!. Our mustard and turnips are okay, but collard is what they love.

We've never grown it and don't know much about it - except that everyone tells us it's a harvesting chore (like okra!).

Jack ~ you make your wife sound like an ogre! LOL I would bet she is a sweet and tolerant lady.
Collards is I one thing I don't know much about and yes, my DH would be amazed to hear me admit I don't know something! 8 )

A google search delivered an education link in a midsouth area that may help http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/hort/hil/hil-8012.html

Google also brought me right back to Daves http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/827734/. That might be a good place to ask some questions.

Sorry but I am one of those transplants that has never eaten or grown Collards but maybe someone else here can offer assistance.

And give VegLady a hug and an apology for anything you might ever say in the future!!! LOL

She's sweet and tolerant with everyone but me!! LOL Thanks for the links.

Jack
