There was a whole thread on chicken treats awhile ago--but I don't think the "search" feature is working right now. Does anyone remember it?

Sometimes I get a really good connection and can "zoom" if you want to call it that! Most of the time it's hit the send button and go get a coffee or throw the laundry in!

We have satellite but the cable company said it would cost thousands to run the cable to our house. The satellite for internet is also too expensive so it's a ten dollar a month dial-up for us!! I've tried the more expensive dial-up but it's no faster than the cheaper plans. Just as long as I can visit my DG friends I don't care if it takes longer!! :-)

I have the fast access it's $30 a month and i do wireless and in a pinch and can't get a signal i use the cable.
I get mine for free my son works and he's 16 and of course has no bills "lucky boy".
I had got a lap top for business and he had a desk one for school and not wanting another expense we did stuff at the library(internet).
So when he got his job last year he said lets get the internet and i said but it's free at the library i can't afford it right now and he said i can. I thought this would be the perfect time for him to learn responsability and see what it was like to have a bill to pay. He has done so well i'm proud of him and of course i let him slide and i pay all the phone bill sometimes. But it has been a real education in how to manage his money and he even has a saveings account he's a good boy.

That's a great way for him to learn that bills come every month like it or not!! :-)

I read somewhere that a cabbage tied up and hung gives them something to do if they have to be confines in the coop for long periods, allso one women said she took pine boughs and put them in the coop for them to play with.

Okay, I am making some bake in the oven hard muffin treats using:
black oil sunflowers
Scratch
powdered milk
grits
rolled oats
hot water
I will post the outcome of this project and take pics...and take pics of my chickens reactions to these muffins...lol...and if they turn out ok...then I will post how much and how long at what temps..
