Home Made Yogurt - can you help?

For the life of me i can't make this work! I used to make yogurt (non fat, plain) and my past two tries have been 'train wrecks'. Can anyone help me??? I have a nice BIG thermos thingy to put the maker in and keep it warm...but .... HELP!
