Home For The Holidays Fundraiser

Every year there is a fundraiser here for Kids Help Phone called Home For The Holidays. A number of private homes are decorated by professional designers and people buy a ticket to tour the homes. Last year Lougheed House where I volunteer joined the 'parade' We dont do tours just are scattered around the house to answer questions. This year I took my camera and got some pics - most of the bedrooms were lit only by Xmas lights and since I had to use a flash you cant really see how beautiful they looked but still it wil give you an idea.

First is the front entrance ( with a mascot from a Real Estate Company who was one of the sponsors)

This tree is in the main hall.

The Swedish tree in the upstairs landing/sitting area.The designers baked all the gingerbread decorations and had some to pass out too! It was very good - they said the recipe came from Canadian Living.

Upstairs sitting room. This tree was decorated with lovely balls from India and was for sale for $700.00 with the $$ to go to the charity. Not sure if it sold.
