New Shoot

I have this Brug growing in my master bath and it has put out a new shoot. What should I do? This Brug will stay in my master bath, because of where I live I struggle with these plants.

You don't have to do anything with it .. you can leave it or cut it and root it..
I would leave it and decide come Spring whether to remove it.. IMHO they root better in warmer weather and it looks to be growing great..

It had about 8 buds on it. I had to move it out in the living room for a couple of days. Well the livingroom is a lot warmer than the bathroom and it lost all but 1 bud which has now opened a little.

I think brugs like the cool air sometimes better than warm, and I know they don't like the house heater system here, which is why I moved mine down to the basement.. if my baths had windows, I'd have nurserys in them LOL

I guess you can tell from the pix the tub sits in a corner with 2 windows, and gets sun from 1p.m. on.

Cindy, seriously, it is a Brug Heaven! My son has a bath and tub like that with big windows, he never uses the tub, ( its a fancy jet type, and he has two baths) and I have been begging him to let me use it... LOL

That's what my tub is, but since I got my hot tub in March I don't use the tub much anymore. Except my DBF had to take bath last week because he had surgery on his foot. I'm so mad that the buds fell off. I should have just waited and just set it aside so Rick could take a bath. Oh well, there's always next spring.
