If you build it, They will come.

Danielsville, GA(Zone 7b)

For around twenty years our two dogs used this box that elivated their bouls up to where they could eat without bending down too far. After the death of our last one, we vowed never to have another (large) dog, and DW wanted none.
As it happened we have become cat rescuers by accident, and we now have four cats. The first one was shot by our fool neighbor, but he only wonded Tigger, and we became responsible, and have a house pet. Then I come across two helpless kittens, and added them to my number.Baggy, and mitzi are very cute, and are daddys little lap kittens.
One day a pretty pursan(SP) came up to me while I was doing some potting, and started rubbing, and meowing, and I got her some food.
Lets go back to the dog feeder, and let me give you my idea on how to still use it for the cats.It is very sentimental, so I pulled it foward, and added a bottom, and bought a comfortable bed. This is what I saw the next morning.
I fell in love with her, and named her Granny.I would like to hear how others got adopted, instead of me.Mike
