Cream versus heavy cream when making soft carmels. How will each affect the carmels? Or for using the recipe for turtles that call for carmels? Hope I am putting this right.
Candy turtles
1/2 lb. carmels
1 1/4c. pecans
2 tbls. heavy cream
4 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
A friend had made this without the heavy cream and they got hard.
