Looks like she wants a hug, or maybe I just want to hug her. I have two american escimo's and she looks kind of like one overgrown. Mine prefer to eat my chickens and guineas when they fly into the back yard rather than guard them. Mike

(Nadine) Devers, TX(Zone 9b)

Uh..Oh..not mine or she knows what will happen if I catch her killing mine..She has a timeout part of the yard and she knows if we head over there, she was gonna be chained up for awhile and not play..

When I was a teenager, we had chickens, ducks, turkeys and rabbits. I had an american escimo and he never bothered any of them. These two just don't get it. My female will not hurt them when they are very young, before feather stage and will even protect them from the male, but as soon as they get feathers, they are fair game to her.

beautiful dog. my great pyrenese is 14 weeks old and already a horse

(Nadine) Devers, TX(Zone 9b)

Well jordankittyjo, you are in for a ride with your puppy..LOL...Train the puppy early and you will not regret it...I started mine when she was 8 weeks old w a grass snake that was harmless...ya should have seen her bark and bark over little bitty snake.. She knows these commands ..would you like to come w me?-(when we go to the henhouse) then she will wag her tail..Then I let her out..When I hit my upper chest area..she will stand on my shoulders..if I tell her to sit and stay..she will..I also use my voice in diff levels to tell her what I need for her to do. She does know what the words NO! and GO! means too..lol..I use the word GO! when I want her not to be in my face or be around my feet...lol.. I say..Love ya,Love ya, Babe...she will come running up to me and start snuggling and wanting to hug ya..lol...I am glad I don't need her for a lapdog!

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

The puppies are adorable. I was surprised by how much brown they have on them since all the adults seem to be totally white by the pics...

Brookville, PA(Zone 5a)

wow, if i lived closer to you i would get one!!! i love those dogs, they are my fav next to german shephards..they are so lovable and so BIG..i have to wait to see what the surgeon says next week before i can think about a puppy. then in the spring i'm going to look hard for one..
beautiful animals!!

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

i got mine here in alabama. i need to show you how big she is at 5 months

(Maggi) Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

I don't know where Ken came up with the name 'Chester' but that's Winston in the pic with him.

Here's the whole litter. The Mom was injured just a week or two into this pregnancy but all are doing just fine. I think these are the biggest pups we've had.

Forgot to add, Beorn (the sire) is badger marked (masked and spots) but they grow out of it as they mature. You can still see some of Beorn's markings but they are very faint now.

Maggidew they're beautiful! How goes it? I haven't seen you in ages....

(Maggi) Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

Geez Jenks, it really has been a long time! We were so hoping for a better economy that would let us get out your way for another RU but it looks like we may have to put that off yet one more year.

Moodene's dog is one of the best of that litter. Our friend Lawanna has another from that litter named Tanner who is a big, beautiful boy.

I fell in love with the runt of the last litter, kept her and named her Lily. She has been through some rough times including some sort of insecticide poisoning, being run over by my van and having her sacroiliac separated on both sides and after that a brush with Parvo, or some similar sickness. She had been getting her vaccinations when she got sick and we really thought we had lost her. She bounced back quickly though. She goes out 'on patrol' with her dad now that her mom is tied up with this latest litter.

We love these dogs for their tremendous heart and sweet nature. Of course the coyotes see another side of their nature, the ferocious side - LOL!
