CLOSED:How long does it take the cuttings to root. They have nubs on them.On one of my cuttings the leaves are coming out at the bottom where the roots should be coming out.

Some cuttings root in a day or two, others may take several weeks. Kind of sounds like you might have the wrong end of the stick in the water maybe? Are there any leaves on the top of the stick also?

No it's not upside down. You can tell that it is the bottom.Maybe it is just new growth coming on their.

I have had Brugs that sprouted an extra growth stem, starting with a leaf, from the bottom of the cutting like that. When you plant it in soil, it will just come on through the soil as an extra stem of the plant. Sounds like maybe that's what you have.
