I was just watching Letterman and Reese Witherspoon was on talking about a farm she just bought with lots of animals including chickens. She didnt really seem to know what she was talking about in regards to the chickes but still....!
Than harry connick jr came on and said he raises chickens too. LOL! He had 2 roosters a black one and a white one and guess what he named them? McCain and Obama. He said that on election night they slaughtered the loser! He actually knew what he was talking about in regard to laying hens and was saying all that hes learned.
Just thought this was interesting and wanted to share. I love hearing about new chicken converts in unlikely places!

I'm sure Reese has a lovely voice--but I think I'd rather be Harry's chick too.
I think all the food scares and economic threats are making people more interested in what they can do to feed themselves at home. And ,anyway, chickens are so cool!

Yeah it was too funny how she didn't have a coop yet for her chickens LOL she said "we just go and hunt for our eggs with the kids" gee i though she would have a house for her chickens ? what is wrong with these rich people Huh ? LOL :)
OH Yes he can sing me lullabyes any time he wants to LOL with or with out a chicken too :)
